Joseph’s Builders transformed J’s house into a true home. When our program faced a roadblock, your team stepped in without hesitation or fine print—simply a desire to serve. Your generosity, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond were extraordinary. Because of you, J received critical repairs and renewed hope. We are deeply grateful for your partnership and the blessing you are to our community.

Of all my roofing projects this year, serving pro bono with Joseph’s Builders in Muskegon was the most meaningful. Working solely to help someone in need brings a unique joy. The craftsmanship, leadership, and faith of the team are inspiring. Serving alongside dedicated volunteers and witnessing strong Catholic leadership made it unforgettable. I am grateful to be part of this mission and its impact. Nunc cepit!

Serving with Joseph’s Builders was a truly remarkable and life-changing experience. The team is deeply committed to bringing Christ to the poor through a shared life of prayer and work—ora et labora—which defined our mission. I cannot recommend a better way to serve those in need or to bring the light of Christ into the world in such a tangible, communal, and faith-filled way.

Before Mission Week, I felt unsure about stepping away from work and living in community for a week. It sounded challenging and uncomfortable. But through prayer, I felt called to go. I am so thankful I did. The experience was deeply spiritual—beginning each day with Mass, sharing meals, praying together, and serving those in need. It strengthened my faith in ways I never expected.

I was hesitant to join Mission Week. Living in community, taking time off work, and embracing discomfort felt daunting. But in prayer, I knew I would regret saying no. I’m grateful I went. It became the most spiritually transformative experience of my life. Each day centered on Mass, shared prayer, and meaningful work—living the rhythm of St. Joseph. I would do it again without hesitation.
